I have been making this apple pie for years and it is always amazing! It is adapted from Martha Stewart’s Old fashioned Double Crust Apple Pie from her book The Martha Stewart Cookbook: Collected Recipes for Every Day I always use her Perfect Pie Crust Recipe from there and it never fails!

This weeks assignment from Project Pastry Queen was selected by Sarah at 20 Something Cupcakes. I made it and it was beautiful but mine turned out a little runny, the flavor was amazing and the family enjoyed it over vanilla ice cream! I think next time I will cook the caramel mix a bit longer

I have unfortunately missed the last few weeks of Project Pastry Queen’s assignments, but hopefully am now back on track with this weeks Bourbon Pumpkin Tart with Streusel Topping.
